How do I book my stay at the resort?

Answer

Go to the travel section on this site. There you will find a link to our booking website made just for our wedding by our travel advisor Jamie! You can book directly through the website or call her and she will do it over the phone. Using our travel advisor, Jamie, ensures you get a group discount on everything, will be automatically included in all the events, and roundtrip ground transportation from the airport and to the resort is included.

When do we need to be there & how long should we stay?

Everyone needs to be in Mexico at the resort at the very latest by Thursday May 4th, 2023! There is a 3 night minimum but we highly recommend staying at least 4 nights if possible! Our site visit was 3 nights and it just felt a little too quick with not much time to relax. You all are definitely welcome to get there earlier and stay longer if you want! Just be there by Thursday May 4th, 2023!

Are you going alone but would like to room with someone to cut costs?

Please talk to Collin or Sarah! There are rooms that have 2 beds and we have some amazing friends! We would be happy to set you up with a roommate if you're interested!

Are flights included?

Answer

No, but if you would like Jamie to help you book your flights she can for a small fee. Just let her know that you want help booking them.

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Round trip transfers are included in the cost when you book the room through Jamie. She will arrange the transfers and will also make any last minute changes the day of for delays in flights or unexpected changes in arrival time. When you book your own flight, you will need to ensure Jamie has your itinerary so she can arrange your transfers. It takes around 30 minutes to get from the airport to the resort.

Wedding Attire?

Answer

Beach Semi-Formal to Formal Gentlemen, please wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Long pants and closed toe shoes are also a dress code requirement for the gentlemen at several of the resort restaurants.

Can we drink the water?

Answer

IMPORTANT NOTE The water is non-potable. Do not drink from the tap or even use the water to brush your teeth. Do your best not to ingest any of it. It does have a slightly funky smell but is fine to shower/bathe/wash your hands in. Just don't drink it. The resort supplies you with plenty of bottled water and you can always ask for more if you need it.

Should we tip?

While everything is included, and it is not required, we highly recommend bringing mostly 1s and 5s with a few 10s for tipping while you're at the resort. (USD is great!) The service is amazing and if you tip the same server or bartender through out your stay they definitely remember you. Again this is not required so used this info to your discretion! Here are some recommendations that we were sent: Bag attendants and shuttle drivers $3-$5 per bag or $5 for every few trips to and from the room Concierge $5-$10 depending on usage Room Service $3-$5 depending on complexity of order and the time of day Tour Guide $20 per couple Tour Bus Driver $5-$10 per couple House keeping $3 -$5 per day Personal Butler $20-50$ per day Buffet Meals $1-5$ per table Buffet station chefs $1 A la carte meals $5-10 per couple Bartenders $1-$10 depending on how many drinks were ordered
