Take a stroll down Main Street. Some of our favorite shops include: Sanders, The Urban Merchant, mi State of Mind, and Talulah Belle. Be sure to stop by Bean and Leaf Cafe for some coffee or tea.
O'Connor's Public House
324 South Main Street, Rochester, MI 48307, (248) 608-2537
Our go-to for dine in or takeout. Live music many nights - including traditional Irish on Sunday nights! (Gluten-Free options!)
Rochester Municipal Park
400 6th Street, Rochester, MI 48307, (248) 733-3700
Nature walk, playground, tennis courts etc... The location of many evenings walks when Erika lived near Downtown.
Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill
17985 Armada Center Road, Armada, MI 48005, (586) 784-5343
Visiting a cider mill for cider and donuts is a must when in Michigan. While there is no shortage of cider mills to choose from - we have found that Blakes offers a broader experience.
Greenfield Village
20900 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn, MI 48124
A bit of a drive from Rochester, but well worth it! You could spend multiple days discovering all that Greenfield Village has to offer. Alternatively, you can stop next-door at the Henry Ford Museum.
Meadow Brook Hall & Gardens
350 Estate Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309
Highly recommend both the house and the gardens. Take a historical tour of the house, built in the 1920's by the founders of Oakland University.
Chomp
200 South Main Street, Rochester, MI 48307, (248) 608-1054
Another favorite place to eat or take-out. Amazing fries and Gluten-Free hamburger buns! Our favorite smoothies are Cocobana and Tropical Splash. They have outdoor seating for nice days.
Stony Creek Metropark
4300 Main Park Drive, Shelby Township, MI 48316, (586) 781-4242
Our favorite place for hiking, biking, and visiting the nature center etc...
