Are kids invited?

We love your kids, we really do, but thought you might like a night off. Adults only please!

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

There is a gravel parking lot located on site at the venue.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We’ve asked a professional photographer to capture our day so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. We are happy to share our images post wedding. Just please respect our wishes and keep phone down for our ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

We have created a guest list, a seating chart, and planned for food, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for your cooperation.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony & reception will both be held at Bear Creek Farms - 5703 W Bennington Rd, Laingsburg, MI 48848. Bear Creek Farm is a beautiful outdoor event barn in Laingsburg, MI being 30 minutes from Lansing and 35 minutes from Flint. The barn is located on seventy acres with rolling hills, surrounded in all directions by beautiful landscape with a gorgeous pond surrounded by weeping willows. Bear Creek Farm is ideal for providing a relaxing and fun indoor and outdoor gathering place for friends and family. Guests are free to enjoy our day from inside the historic barn, outdoors under our pavilion or on the property playing horseshoes, croquet, corn hole to relaxing by the bonfire under the stars.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

Smoking is not allowed in the barn or on the open air patio or near the tent. This includes vaping/e-cigarettes. Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only and all smoking waste/litter must be properly disposed of in designated receptacles.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The drinks are on us, the hangover is on you! Wines: Chardonnay, Sangria & Pinot Noir Beers: Coors Light, Seltzers & Oberon Spirits: Vodka, Whiskey, Gin, Rum & Tequila

Food options?

Answer

There will be light appetizers provided during cocktail hour. Dinner will be baked boneless chicken breast, roast beef, roasted red skin potatoes, mac & cheese, vegetable medley, tossed garden salad, rolls and butter. Desserts will be cheesecake, blueberry crumb cake, cupcakes, brownies and cookies.
