This was one of the first trails Kallie and Hunter did together in the first trip to Colorado as a couple. A 3.3 mile out and back trail in Boulder that's heavily trafficked but offers stunning views of the city. Don't be fooled by the short 3ish miles though as there's nearly 1,500 ft of elevation gain.
For those looking to test their physical prowess without having to drive far from Boulder and avoiding the big crowds at Rocky Mountain National Park, Indian Peaks Wilderness is the place to visit. Many of the peaks reach 13,000 ft, and all named after Native American tribes that occupied the Rocky Mountains before white settlers arrived.
Looking for live music? Check out Red Rocks Amphitheatre, only 40 minutes from Boulder to see arguably one of the most iconic music venues in the country. Even if you're not going to a show, there's a basement museum to see all the bands who have played at the venue as well as trails to get up close and personal of the "Ancient Rocky Mountain" formations.
