We will be at an elevation of 10,050. If you will be drinking it’s important to understand that it’s easier to become drunk at higher elevations. That being said, if you can handle 2 beers at sea level, you may not feel the same at this elevation. This is why we are offering the shuttle. Please RSVP for the shuttle asap as we will only have limited amount of seats. We will also have an oxygen bar not only for fun, but also it will help if anyone feels they just need more oxygen!
YOU! Seriously… having you all here is all we need, but if you insist, please only Venmo or Zelle cash as we request you don’t send any gifts by mail. You could also bring it to the wedding if you want to bring a sentimental card. WE REALLY WANT CARDS IF YOU BRING ANYTHING!!! There’s something about a card that makes you feel special! But we just appreciate you making the trip and/or just enjoying this special moment with us. Venmo: @aimstar07 Zelle: 724-464-8594
If you leave on Sunday, please be aware of traffic. Leaving the mountains on a Sunday can be a nightmare. So plan for adding a few additional hours to get to the airport if leaving on Sunday. Early mornings and late evenings are better on Sunday. It is mid day to be concerned of. Our best recommendation is to leave on Monday.
Please RSVP by May 25th 2024, but the sooner the better! You can RSVP by scanning the QR code on your invite or by clicking the RSVP tab on this website
We love your kids, but we encourage you to use this evening as a “night out” for yourself! We respectfully request and encourage our families and friends to help us make this an adult only celebration due to venue capacity and adult activities. If this will be an issue, please send me a message or call me before you RSVP. We Appreciate your Understanding and Look Forward to Celebrating with Everyone!
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guest formally invited on you’re wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will state it.
Parking is located right in front of the buildings we will be celebrating at. It’s a huge parking lot. BUT we recommend riding the shuttle bus as that is your safest option. We recommend walking to your shuttle location unless you can find street parking close to the location a shuttle bus will be located at. Please ask Rob or I if you need assistance in this as we can provide you with suggestions.
We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is Formal Attire Men: Suits or dress shirt/dress pants - no jeans please! Women: semi formal or cocktail dresses ****the sun will be out most of the night… but when the sun goes down around 9, it will drop in temperature so we recommend bringing a sweater. The reception is in-doors so do not stress if you don’t want to bring anything. I just want everyone to be aware of temperature changes in case you enjoy spending time outside
No! I hate that this has to be a question, but I’ve heard it’s a thing. Please let the bride have her day.
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you so get ready to celebrate. Please do not bring any alcohol to the venue! It is not allowed and we will get fined if they find it on you! Please allow us to provide the drinks!
No later than 4:15! If you will be riding the shuttle… it will pick up at 3 pm and have you at our venue by 4 so you will have plenty of time to capture photos of the view before the ceremony.
Now! If you’re reading this, stop and go find your place to stay! We live in a tourist town and these spots book up very fast as people are planning their vacations here! So what are your waiting for… book it!
ALTITUDE SICKNESS PREVENTION THINGS TO WATCH FOR If you feel like you may have altitude sickness please check for the following symptoms. -Fatigue -Headache -Nausea -Problems sleeping -Shortness of breath You’ll typically experience these symptoms within hours after arriving at a high altitude. Symptoms usually resolve on their own shortly as your body acclimates to the elevation. Ways to Prevent Altitude Sickness Drink twice as much water. One of the best ways to help your body adjust to high altitude is to drink more water. High-altitude areas have low humidity which keeps the air dry, so you should drink twice as much water as you’re used to. Most importantly… start drinking more water 2 weeks before you get to higher altitude. Skip the macchiatos and beers. Avoid caffeinated drinks, such as coffee and tea, one day before leaving for your trip. Avoid alcohol before departing for your trip too. Alcohol and caffeinated drinks are things that actually affect our ability to adjust to altitude, and increase dehydration. Also, eat more carbohydrates. Carbs can reduce acute mountain sickness because they require less oxygen than fats for digestion. On the day of your arrival, keep activities light. Don’t try to do an adventurous hike. Rest! Altitude Sickness Treatment -Stop and rest where you are. -Do not go any higher for at least 24 to 48 hours. - If you have a headache, take ibuprofen or paracetamol. -If you feel sick, take an anti-sickness medicine, such as promethazine. -Make sure you're drinking enough water. -Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or exercise. If you feel like you may be experiencing altitude sickness and you have tried to alleviate your symptoms but are still feeling ill, please go to a local urgent care or emergency room.
