Hanakāpī‘ai Falls

4mi one way hike to the falls, rugged and muddy if it rains but worth it. Bring water shoes if you have them. Eat the guava fruit from the trees along the way. Bring your backpack with water, lunch, towel, swimsuit to swim in the falls. Recommended to do this hike early before 7am because it gets crowded and parking is limited. End of HWY 560 next to Ke'e beach.

Hanalei Bay

Hanalei Bay is flat in the summer. Perfect place to relax on the sand and swim in calm waters. Parking and restrooms available at Waioli Beach Park, Hanalei Pavilion Beach Park and by the Pier at Black Pot Beach on Weke Rd.

Okolehao Hiking Trailhead

2.5mi hike each way, climb 1250ft. elevation to awesome ocean views of Hanalei Valley. Bring a backpack with water and a snack.

Hanalei River

Kayak and Stand Up Paddle board rentals available at Kayak Hanalei and Pedal and Paddle.

Princeville

Shopping Center with Food Land grocery store, restaurants, golf course, St. Regis Resort, Hideaways Beach, Queens Bath, horseback riding and ziplining.

Kilauea Lighthouse

The lighthouse is located in the town of Kilauea on Kauai North Shore. Kilauea also has local shopping and restaurants. I recommend Kilauea Bakery and the fish tacos at Kilauea Fish Market.

Sleeping Giant

1.5mi hike each way with breathtaking views. Easy hike but can get hot during the day.

Poipu Beach

Located at the South shores of Kauai. Poipu has lots of shopping and restaurants. Visit the Spouting Horn and the McBryde and Allerton Botantical Gardens.

Old Koloa Town

Old plantation stores, restaurants, and ice cream.

Kauai Coffee Company

Tours of the coffee plantation and tastings available.

Waimea Canyon State Park

Located on the West side of Kauai.

Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park

Catamaran boat tours available to see the Napali Coast on the West side of Kauai.

Kapaa

You will pass the town of Kapaa on your way to the North Shore. Kapaa has lots of shopping and restaurants. Tourist attractions include the Fern Grotto and kayaking to the Wailua Falls.
