Brian and I met while working at Nationwide Insurance in November 2012. I guess we can thank Nationwide for the long work hours that resulted in the stress relieving team happy hours allowing us to become great friends. We wised up and started dating in February 2015 and haven’t looked back since. We discovered a common interest in sports and attended several Cleveland Indians and OSU football and basketball games together. We haven’t been able to make it to a Cleveland Browns/Pittsburgh Steelers game together but that could get interesting (#HouseDivided). We also share a love for traveling which is usually a mix between trying new foods and drinks, site seeing, and relaxing away from home (usually on a beach). Our traveling started with a trip to Chicago and then we we off to Mexico for our first all inclusive vacation. It was AMAZING. Since then we’ve been to Myrtle Beach, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Miami, a Caribbean cruise, and most importantly Hawaii. Hawaii will always hold a special place in our hearts for many reasons (great memories with friends) but first and foremost is because Brian proposed to me there. He dropped down on one knee and popped the question while we we walking on a beach along the Kaanapali coast in Maui on February 14, 2019. We couldn't have been any happier. Although we love traveling, we really enjoy the spending time in the home we are continuing to create for family. Our story would not be complete without mentioning our fur baby Jasmine. Jasmine is our 12 year old black lab mix who has stolen both of our hearts. She stole mine 12 years ago when I saw her in a pen at a flea market my family and I attended most Sundays. I was lucky enough to be home from college to find her that day. I watched as she stole Brian’s heart as she took over his couch, then his favorite chair and eventually his pillow. She is our world. We are very excited to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends and to continue creating memories!
