Alex and Courtney met in college when they became sorority sisters (Go Chi O!) in 2016. Alex became Courtney's "little" and they've been inseparable ever since. They grew extremely close in college and experienced growth in their faith around the same time. Alex is one of the most joyful and charismatic souls to be around. Her authenticity invites everyone to be nothing but their true selves.

Lauren Calka

Friends since Kindergarten, Lauren is a loyal and dear friend of Courtney's. They have attended the same grade school, high school, and even the same college (Go Gators!) and they have lived a lot of life together. Even when distance keeps them apart, the flame of their friendship continues to burn bright. Lauren is an easy soul to be around and she makes everyone feel seen and valued. She exudes tenderness, peace, and unconditional love.

Carissa Mastrorio

Carissa and Courtney are not only biological sisters, but they also had the gift of becoming sorority sisters when they both attended the University of Florida and joined Chi Omega. They both enjoy cheering for the Gators, going to concerts, and spending time with their lovely family. Courtney has always looked up to Carissa's strength, loyalty, and her work ethic. Carissa has always achieved what she has set her mind to and makes great sacrifice and acts of service for those she loves.

Gabrielle Eschenfelder

Gabrielle (Gabe) is another sorority sister of Courtney's. They quickly became friends when they both joined Chi Omega in the fall of 2015. The two also had the gift of living together for 2 years as roommates in the sorority house. Gabe has the biggest heart and is always looking for ways to serve and help others. Her care and compassion are unmatched! Courtney stood by Gabe's side on her wedding day, and now Gabe will be able to do the same.

Jessica Flaherty

Jessica became Courtney's "big" once Courtney joined Chi Omega in college. Courtney was drawn to Jessica's example of faith and her intentional friendship. They spent much time growing in friendship together in college, and have kept up their friendship ever since. Jessica has such a missionary heart and lives out her discipleship with courage and conviction. Courtney loves Jessica's desire for simplicity of life and her faithful friendship.

Lauren Kern

Lauren and Courtney met in college when they became sorority sisters. They were also both Elementary Education majors so they got to attend classes together, too! They lived together as roommates during their 5th year. Lauren is a driven, strong, and faithful woman. She is someone who brings joy into any room she enters. Her desire to care for and help others is so strong and her friendship is loyal.

Jessica Rapp

Jess is someone who has become a fast friend of Courtney's. They met last year through mutual friends and this year they became co-workers, by the grace of God! They both teach first grade at a Catholic school and genuinely enjoy working and spending time together. Jess is a strong, faith-filled soul and an easy-going and joyful friend. Her commitment to her faith, her patience in difficulties, and her gentleness of spirit are inspirational.

James Martin

Best Man

While it is customary in the south to have the father of the groom be the best man, that tradition never entered Hudson's mind when choosing who he wanted to be right next to him on his wedding day as the Best Man. James and Hudson have been best pals since Hudson first picked up a golf club at the age of three. Whether it was going to Auburn on Saturdays in the fall for football games, heading to the woods for hunting trips, or fishing in the Gulf of Mexico during the summer, this father & son duo have always been close. What has brought them even closer as Hudson has become an adult has been their desire to grow closer to Jesus and walk that journey of faith together. Hudson's father was chosen as the best man because he is, in Hudson's own words, "The best man in my life. There's no one I look up to more than him."

Nolan Martin

Older brother of the groom, Nolan and Hudson have been very close since their youth. With there being a six-year gap between them, Hudson has always admired the way Nolan carried himself and the example he gave while they grew up. Hudson always credits Nolan for helping him grow through his adolescence and admires Nolan's role as a pioneer in deepening his faith life through his own example of devotion during his high school years.

Drake Martin

Older cousin of the groom, Drake and Hudson have been more like brothers, rather than cousins. Whether it be golf, backyard football, hunting in South Alabama, or enjoying the family beach house in Pensacola, Drake & Hudson have always enjoyed each other's company and continue that bond of family and friendship to this day.

Ben Martin

Younger cousin of the groom and the younger brother of fellow groomsman, Drake Martin, Ben and Hudson have been buds since they were kids. Fortunately, they were given the gift of attending Auburn University at the same time. Hudson couldn't imagine not having his cousins on the altar at his wedding and knows their late grandmother, Katherine Martin "Kaka" will be smiling to see four of her grandsons together on that day.

Matthew Mastrorio

Younger brother of the bride, Courtney has deep love, affection, and admiration for her brother. After Hudson met Matthew, he could see why. Matthew is an intelligent, athletic, deeply caring young man with a maturity well beyond his years. Glad to have Matthew on the altar beside him, Hudson is grateful to Matthew, and the entire Mastrorio family for how welcomed he feels into his new family, and looks forward to the years to come bonding with his new little brother.

Daniel Baczmaga

Daniel and Hudson met in August of 2019 at a Holy Family young adult night after Mass. Now, four years later, the two are inseparable. Daniel and Hudson enjoy making each other laugh but have always challenged each other to grow in holiness and never stop pursuing a relationship with The Lord. Godfather to Daniel and Angele's daughter, Hudson is humbled and grateful to have been shown such love, respect, and deep friendship that the Baczmaga's have shown him throughout these last few years.

Mike and Hudson met at a Holy Family Young Adult Social after Mass in the fall of 2020. Hudson was pleased to learn that a guy from Cleveland had a little bit of southern flair to himself, and the two quickly became friends. What began as fun social interactions quickly matured into authentic friendship once they began discussing their shared Catholic Faith, the deeper questions about life, and the commonalities they shared in how they grew up.

Evan Costello

Hudson and Evan met at Auburn University in the Fall of 2017. Evan, a FOCUS missionary from the University of Alabama, met an eager Hudson ready to make a change in how he approached his Catholic faith. Evan had the great gift of accompaniment and his example of fidelity to prayer, the sacraments, and excellence in daily responsibilities inspired Hudson. Now friends for over six years, Hudson is Godfather to Evan and Sarah Catherine's first-born daughter.

William Charnock

William made a great first impression on Hudson in his level of maturity as an eighteen-year-old kid just beginning freshman year at Auburn in 2017. The two had the unique privilege of serving on a mission trip together in Nicaragua where a brotherhood continued to deepen. Just as Hudson was on the altar with William at his wedding, Hudson is thrilled to have William right by his side.

Hudson and Eric met in the Fall of 2015 when they pledged the Alpha Delta Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity at Auburn University. Never a dull moment between the two, Hudson has always been grateful to Eric for his loyalty as a friend for nearly a decade and is honored to know him. There's a lot of love between these two guys and Hudson didn't hesitate in wanting his oldest friend as one of his groomsmen.
