Our story begins like any modern day story would...on the internet. It was the beginning of July 2021...although it should have been the end of May 2021, but thats a different story for a different day... and Aaron swiped right on Houston (again), and she did the same (again). They began talking and really hit it off. Dating with children is complicated at times so their first date took a while to happen. When it was finally scheduled, Houston had to cancel, but asked Aaron if he could do lunch the following day. She even offered to drive to Sikeston to do so. They had lunch and had such a good time that they decided to go to the movies after. Aaron, even though not a fan of scary movies, offered to go see A Quiet Place 2. They continued to have great conversation and make fun of the movie (I mean really...what sane person would walk into an abandoned train car, knowing that there was more than likely one of those aliens on it...) At the end of the movie they each went their separate ways. They continued to talk and facetime every chance they got. Eventually a second date happened on August 7. By the end of the second date, Houston knew this was her person. By September 7, 2021 she knew she loved him and wanted to marry him. They continued to talk and date. They grew closer and closer. In October, Houston met Aarons daughter. In December, Aaron met Houstons children. In April 2022, Houston asked Aaron to move in officially (he practically was anyways). Marriage and the future had been a topic of conversation for a while. Houston designed some rings and Aaron paid attention. He bought a ring...and when it arrived Houston had to pick it up but had to restrain from looking at it. For months she knew she was getting a ring and had to wait to be asked. Aaron and Houston started planning their first vacation together. They each wanted to go somewhere they had never been and settled on Galveston, Texas. On the first night there, thats really when the story began. They were walking along the beach and decided to walk along a wave breaker path. At the end of the path Aaron told Houston that he wanted to take a pic of her. Little did she know...well she kind of had a feeling...that this was when Aaron was going to propose. She said yes! (Obviously, or we wouldnt be here) They made some amazing memories in Galveston like eating at Number 13 (the wagyu flight is a must!), going to the Moody Gardens (the rainforest one is the best), swimming in the Gulf and going to the Houston Zoo (so clean!). After two years of being engaged, they are finally ready to seal the deal! Two people become one and they cant wait to share the day with loved ones!
