Katie and I met through 4H though didn’t become close until 2013 when we started riding our horses together. We really bonded after a jumping lesson in which I fell off resulting in a broken collarbone. From classes in college, to trail rides, and from horse shows, to mastering the art of road trips, there’s nobody else I could imagine being one of my maids of honor!

Cat and Laura met in 2013 when they started EKU’s marching band camp prior to the fall semester. Quickly becoming best friends, many nights were spent around campus and around Richmond. Even when Cat went back home, she and Laura stayed close through texts, phone calls, and FaceTimes. Through distance and pandemics, we still came out the other side best friends.
