We're getting married!

Brian and Becca each have their fair share of tumultuous dating stories and a woeful relationship history, to put it kindly! Albeit, neither gave up hope in their attempts to find love! The first time Brian and Becca matched on a dating app, circa 2019 (?) on an app nobody is proud of (rhymes with Schminder!), they "Matched" and "liked" each other, but never chatted or made plans to go out, and both subsequently got off the app pretty shortly after joining. About a year or so later, they matched on a second app, (the name of this one depends on who is telling the story!) and this time, made a connection! Brian mentioned being a General Contractor and was helping his sister move that weekend. Becca mentioned the crazy real estate market and was on a hike with Bruin at the time. They discussed getting together, and unfortunately, never went out. The real estate market continued to be really busy, and Becca decided it was best for her to focus on her career and got off the app. Brian went on a few more dates, but after a few months, ultimately decided to take a break from it as well. In Fall 2021, Becca went on her 438232832th terrible date, and decidedly swore off dating apps forever. A few days afterward, that man messaged and said that a lot of his friends had had luck on Facebook Dating. Becca called her little sister, Elise, in a huff about the whole situation. Elise, very kindly, reminded Becca that she had tried "every other" dating app - why not give this one a chance?! Begrudgingly, Becca decided to try it for a week. The next day, she matched (again!) with a gorgeous blue-eyed contractor named Brian. He messaged and said hello, and she messaged saying that the real estate market was so busy that she was terrible with checking the messages on the app - could he text her instead? Brian replied "Sure, I still have your number. That's what you said last time." Becca was horrified, not remembering that she had accidentally "ghosted" Brian a year before. He text her, and their messages popped up from their last exchange. Brian said, "Listen, there's something about you that I really like, and I'd like for us to get together, but this is my last time trying." Becca thought that was a little sassy, but realized that he had a point and the persistence was attractive, and agreed to get a drink with him the following night - Monday. Both felt they owed it to themselves to get together since they'd matched three times, but neither had high hopes. They got together at 5:30pm, and Brian had his buddy on speed dial for an "emergency", and Becca scheduled a showing for later that night so she'd have an out! They met for a drink at PJ Ryans Pub on Bridge Street in Phoenixville on November 15th, and the rest, they say, is history! Brian asked Becca to be his girlfriend (officially!) in January 2022, which nearly led to her burning dinner (!) and he proposed on the rooftop of Castillo San Cristóbal in San Juan in February 2023!
