The Lincoln at Sunset is the most quintessentially DC thing you can do... not to mention stunning. Look out across the Reflecting Pool, explore the pavilion, then take a short, lovely walk around to the Vietnam and Korean Memorials, with a view of the Washington Monument looming overhead.
