Our love story started in July of 2017 and as we met through mutual friends. Years before meeting each other Christian and I had the same group of friends but never once met or heard of each other. When we first began dating I was attending college full time and he was working full time. We made a compromise at only 18 and 20 years old on August 14, 2017 to begin our lives together as a couple. In September of 2018 Christian and I began living together and preparing to move into our first home. On January 19, 2019 we moved into our forever home and built a life we love. Throughout the years Christian and I have visited 3 different countries, 8 different states, and several different cities/counties in between. This year, 2023, makes 6 blissful years of learning, loving, and providing for each other. As the years go by Christian and I will continue to love and care for each other until the day we die.
On this day, Christian and I made a promise and sealed it with a ring. We promised to love each other, always, no matter what. We will always be there for each other through good and bad. We will always be supportive and understanding. We will always be there for each other when we need a hug, a laugh, or just a listening ear. We will always be there for each other no matter what. Forever and Always. “Today marks half a year and 1 day that we have been together. Today marks the day that I want you to realize that I have everything that I want in front of me. Today marks the day that I see you smile while you read this in your mind while sitting in front of me. Today marks a promise of my love towards you. A promise that I want to never be broken. A promise that no matter how many times we fight I will always love you. A promise of trust. A promise of love to our relationship. A promise that I will be there til your last heart beat. A promise that my life is compete with you. I love you hope. I love everything about you. I love your smile. I love your laugh. I love your eyes. I love everything about you. I love you. Today marks a promise that we will be forever. I want you to accept this promise ring and remember that my promise towards you will be FOREVER and AWLAYS. I love you hope.” - Christian 18’
Christian and I had just found out in November of 2020 that we were expecting our miracle, rainbow baby. In January of 2021 we had a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada given to us as a Christmas gift. When we arrived, in the city that never sleeps, we visited all the amenities provided and played countless games in the casino making memories. I noticed the night of January 14 Christian seemed off and nervous but I figured it was just the beginning of the pregnancy and thought nothing more of it. Christian spent time with us and did his own thing as usual and we proceeded to eat dinner with my mom for her birthday. The night of January 15 we bought tickets to one of the greatest magic shows in the world but unfortunately just hours before the show started they cancelled the whole show for that night. As a back up plan we scheduled a time to eat at a five star restaurant called Top of The World. Little did I know that my world would be changed forever that day. After a decadent meal, Christian had a few tricks up his sleeve for the night. He knew that I was bummed out about our magic show getting cancelled so he last minute got a magician to come and preform a show for only us in front of the whole restaurant. After picking my cards from the deck the magician gave me and within a split second he gave them back with the words on each card, “Will” “You” Marry Me?” And as I turned Christian was already prepared for the future. It was a magical night I will never forget and will always appreciate.
This was the birth day of our precious baby boy and a start to our new journey as a whole family. A pregnancy, for me, has always been surreal, shocking, changing and always will be no matter how many times it happens. There once was a girl And that girl met a boy They found living as two Was a life full of joy These two happy lovebirds, this couple, this pair Were snug in their nest But they thought it quite bare So they cuddled up closer Made room in their tree And their joy overflowed When two became three.
