We met while both working at UPS in 2016. Romaine was super nice and friendly to Areonna after a couple of weeks working together. A Couple months had gone by, and Areonna decided to approach Romaine at work like "Hey. My friend wants to know if you have a girlfriend?" immediately Romaine responds with "who is your friend?" She says "that's not an answer to my question." He replies "no I don't. Now WHO is your friend?" as I walked away, I responded My friend works on the other side of the building." a couple minutes goes by and Romaine comes to find Areonna and ask again who the friend was, as to which she replies, "It was me." They casually laugh and hold a small conversation which ended in him asking her on a date. Areonna agreed and they went on their first date that following weekend. He was (and STILL IS) such a complete gentleman that picked her up from home, met her mom for the first time, opened doors and took her back home safely. Later on that night, on April 23rd,2016, Romaine asked Areonna to be his girl and she said yes. Fast forward to April 23rd, 2022, when Romaine asked his mom, Areonna's mom and Areonna out on a date. It was this very same day, that he got down on one knee and asked her to be his other half, forever. OF COURSE, she said yes! Now we are on this beautiful journey to say I DO on April 23rd, 2024.
