Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP via the RSVP tab of this website (available through 09/20). When you input your full name, it should pull up the list of all the guests in your party. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us through text or email. We’d be happy to complete or update your RSVP for you as well.

Question

What documents do we need to go to Indonesia? Is a tourist visa needed?

Answer

With current regulations as of September 2022, US citizens do not need to apply for a tourist visa prior to their trip. But you will need Visa on Arrival (VOA). US citizens arriving in Indonesia are required to pay Rp 500,000 CASH (approx $50 if paying in USD) to acquire a VOA at the airport upon arrival in Indonesia. It is valid for 30 days. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least the next 6 months. Before your trip, please download app "PeduliLindungi" on your phone and register your vaccines there. If you need help navigating this app, feel free to reach out to us. We would recommend you getting 3 doses of covid vaccine as it is required to enter public places including the resort where we're getting married at. If you have only been vaccinated 2x, you'll be required to get a covid test when you travel domestically within Indonesia and you won't be allowed to enter public places such as malls, restaurants, hotels, etc. For more information on tourist visa/stay permit, please refer to this website https://kemlu.go.id/bern/en/news/17810/entering-indonesia-updated-on-27-april-2022

Question

Are there any COVID-related restrictions in entering Indonesia? Do we have to quarantine when we arrive?

Answer

As of September 2022, you don't need to quarantine when you enter Indonesia IF you've had 3 doses of covid vaccine (2 main doses and 1 booster dose). Please make sure to bring your vaccine certificate as proof. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any question. We will monitor these regulations and update our guests if there are any changes.

Question

What is the airport code?

Answer

The airport code for Bali is DPS (Denpasar). If you are only staying for less than a week, we would recommend you to book round-trip flights to DPS. If you plan to stay in Indonesia longer, you might want to explore the capital city of Indonesia: Jakarta (airport code: CGK) as well as the surrounding towns.

Question

Any travel tips for long flights to Indonesia?

Answer

Currently EVA Air, All Nippon Airways, Japan Airlines, and Singapore Airlines have some of the best routes with minimal layover time. We would recommend booking your flights earlier than later, as airfare can get a lot more expensive for last minute reservation especially during this time of pandemic. Taking Zzquil might help to fall asleep better during your flights so you can feel recharged when you arrive in Bali.

Question

What if we can't make it to the wedding?

Answer

We understand that it is difficult to plan overseas travels during the pandemic, especially one that is thousands of miles away and not being held during the holidays/summer break. We have hired a vendor to livestream our wedding ceremony so our family and friends who can't come to the wedding can still witness us say "I do" live. Link to the livestream will be sent to you closer to the D day.

Question

What should we pack for Bali?

Answer

Indonesia in general is very humid and can be quite hot on most days. Pack summer/tropical clothes, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire but we want you to feel comfortable and amazing in whatever you choose to wear.

Question

What is the venue like? Outdoor or indoor?

Answer

Both our wedding ceremony and reception are going to be held indoor at Conrad Bali resort, and there will be AC.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

How lucky and blessed we are to be surrounded by so much love from our loved ones! We appreciate the thoughts especially the effort many of you have put to come out of your way for us. Gifts are not expected, but any prayer and well wishes would be welcomed and very much appreciated.

For all the days along the way
