Maid of Honor
Laura is the closest thing I've ever had to a sister. From not liking each other very much growing up to being able to talk about anything in our adult lives. I love her more than anything and can't think of a better person to be standing with me.
Best Man
Well, this one should speak for itself! Travis and I grew up together by almost complete biological coincidence, a fact I'm very grateful for since he's gone from being mentor/nemesis as a child to great friend, confidante and gaming partner.
Bridesmaid
Kelly Burns has lived with me longer than any other person save my parents. She's supported me in my lowest moments and shared some of my highest moments. We've been planning our weddings together for years and I'm so thrilled she will be with me on the big day.
Groomsman
Jeff and I met at a theatre in North Hollywood. He was teaching and acting, I was in scene study and stage managing. We went on to be drinking buddies, roommates, and pretty much any sounding bored for a joke or a movie and TV reference. It was clear we shared all the appropriate love of stupid and sublime things that would create an enduring friendship.
Bridesmaid
I met Cindy freshman year of college and together we traversed the wild ride that was university theatre. I'm beyond thrilled that we continued our friendship into our adult lives and I was honored to serve as a bridesmaid in her wedding. I'm so glad I now get to return the favor.
Groomsman
Nick was my first, best friend throughout college at Northwestern. Those years had trials and celebrations for each of us, but whether we were adventuring out into the city or taking six-hour road trips to see Muse or David Bowie, we solidified a friendship that would carry out all the way to Los Angeles as roommates, and for many years to come.
Bridesmaid
Laura B. came into my life the first time Josh introduced me to his brother. Laura is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. She has been warm and welcoming since the very beginning. We always have each others back at game nights and understand that Travis must be destroyed!
Groomsman
I can't believe I closed out my last two years at Northwestern finally making friends with someone I should have been friends with all along! Mark's the kind of person that you will always know has your back, and every memory becomes a cherished callback in a conversation to be had, or in a somewhat tipsy dance on a bridge in Japan.
Groomswoman
When Cari and I first met at my Los Angeles job, I knew I sensed a kindred spirit. In between the years of working, we'd take long walks up and down Runyon canyon at all hours, talk movies and theater, and go closer with every hangout. She's a cherished and dear friend, and always will be.
Officiant
Nicholas Ward, a good friend from Northwestern gone to manage a theater in Manhattan, connected our two worlds for the first time. Had he not been working at EST, we would not have met as a volunteer bartender/stage manager one night, and set all this journey along its path. In the game of Life, Nick truly set the rules for this chapter ahead.
