When Holly found out that she was the only girl enrolled in her upcoming Outward Bound Course, she questioned whether or not she should still go on the trip. Meanwhile, Albert had no idea that he was about to go on the hiking version of The Bachelorette (if the contestants didn't shower for a month and had no actual interest in romancing the girl).

While Holly was working in Tanzania, Albert came to visit. During the first night that Albert had arrived, he excitedly showed her various items in his suitcase that he'd brought for the village. While Albert shuffled items around in his bag, Holly saw the flash of a blue ring box (eerie considering that 26 years earlier, her mom Heidi had found her engagement ring while going through Dave's suitcase on a sailing trip). A few days later, Albert proposed while they were visiting a beautiful lodge. He forgot the ring.
