Maid of Honor
“Lisa has obviously known me since the day I was born. Despite the older sibling torture (playing hide and seek and never actually coming to find me, making me watch scary movies on the rare occasion that mom trusted her to babysit, etc.), we have grown to be best friends. We call each other to laugh, cry, vent, or when we need advice. We also tend to team up, like when we had an alarm system to warn each other when we heard parents walking upstairs towards one of our rooms, or when we came up with an irrefutable argument that we presented about why we needed text messaging. I am so thankful for my big sister and honestly couldn’t imagine having anyone else standing by my side on my wedding day.”

“Rob and I have been friends for over 20 years. We met in elementary school, where I lied to him and told him I was a firefighter at the age of ten or eleven (and he believed me). We then went on to chasing firetrucks on our bicycles and spending just about every night there after at the firehouse with my dad. We were pretty much inseparable until our teenage years, and even then, it was hard to find us apart for very long. We went on to work and volunteer at many of the same places. Still to this day we work and volunteer together. We have both been there for each other on some of our worst days and I wouldn’t change it for anything. I mean he actually hid out in the jetty for hours in December waiting for us to show up so he could record our proposal.”

“Kevin and I have always kind of known of each other since he was a grade ahead of me in school and we had a lot of mutual friends. But we became closer when we both joined Beachwood First Aid Squad about 10 years ago. Kevin has been a great friend and is always there when you need him. I was happy to return the favor when Kevin & Caitie bought their house- I volunteered to supervise Kevin while he built his new deck. When we’re not working together, you can usually find us at the Seaside St. Patty’s Day Parade, getting lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings or hanging out in Kevin’s garage.”

“Caitie and I naturally became friends because of Andrew & Kevin. But not in the ‘ugh, I guess I have to hang out with this guy’s girlfriend’ kind of way, but more in a ‘let’s ditch the boys and go out’ kind of way. When we are together, we always end up doing something ridiculous and laugh a lot along the way. I am not at all surprised that Andrew used Caitie to come up with some crazy excuse to get us to go to the lighthouse for our proposal, and I didn’t think anything of it.”

“Jill & I became friends early on in nursing school as study buddies, but our friendship went way beyond school. I always go to Jill for advice. She has been there for me through all the good days and bad days. She was even the first person I excitedly called when Andrew officially asked me out! Despite having lived in different states for much of our post-college friendship, we still make time to see each other and have taken some amazing adventures together- from a night out in NYC to a spontaneous trip to California to be on the Ellen show.”

“Christy also started as a nursing school study partner, but we soon went from afternoons in the library to spending most of our time together. We ate eggs for breakfast in the cafeteria every morning, walked to practically every class together, and ended up living together for 2 years. We would love treating ourselves to a Mama Flora’s margarita pizza or penne and vodka. Christy is now an amazing mom and wife, and somehow finds time to still be an amazing friend too. She always coordinates a weekend for us and Jill (and the boys and kids) to get together at her mom’s beach house, and it is my favorite summer memory every year.”

“I first met Mike at Water Street shortly after Lauren & I started dating. I went with the intention of meeting Lauren’s sister for the first time. I was nervous, but Mike bought me a shot ...and I spilled it all down the front of my shirt. What a great first impression. Since then, we have attended multiple Camposano events together and enjoy hiding from the girls.”

“David and I are cousins and were always getting in trouble when we were younger. I can remember being chased around Granny’s old Holiday City house with the famous wooden spoon or putting his mom’s old car in neutral and rolling it out of the parking spot. We seem to get in less trouble recently, although Granny or Aunt Janel still usually ends up yelling at us during family functions.”

“Well plain and simple, Jeff and I did not like each other in school. I can recall many times throwing deodorant, locks, or other people’s shoes at each other in the high school locker room. However, that changed when we both joined our local first aid squads, and through there, we became very close. From then on you could find us at a bar in Seaside or saving a life on the boo boo bus. We still manage to text frequently and see other even though Jeff decided to ditch us and move to the most southern point of Maryland. God bless ya’ll real good.”
Flower Girl
Mia holds a special place in our hearts as our first niece and Lauren’s goddaughter. Did you know- Mia had trouble pronouncing L’s when she was younger, so “Aunt Lauren” came out as “Aunt Moron” and the name has innocently stuck. We love Mia’s determination and confidence. She’s not afraid to climb into Uncle Andrew’s firetruck or race us down the block on her bike at top speeds. She is our favorite source of live entertainment with her karaoke performances and drum solos. Mia has also taught us so much- like no, she’s not allowed to have apple juice right before bed even though she convinced Uncle Andrew otherwise.
Ring Bearer
Attention single ladies - Jack is our handsome nephew who will win you over with his side glance and smirk. Aunt Lauren loves Jack’s big hugs and laughs, and they share a passion for pasta. On the contrary, Jack and Uncle Andrew bond over trucks, dogs, and destroying things. Jack is always on the move, but we can’t even get mad when he tries to climb into the dryer or front flip off the couch because his smile is contagious.
