I am having difficulty booking my room on destinationweddings.com

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Beach formal: Cocktail Dresses, Suits, Button-Up Shirts, Slacks. The average weather in July in Mexico is 90 degrees F (high) and 76 degrees F (low). Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors so please dress to your comfort level.

Where will the wedding be located?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outside of the hotel resort in a private venue (Villa la Joya). We will be providing transportation to and from the venue which is 8 minutes from the hotel.

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

Closest airport to fly into is Cancun International Airport. The hotel is approximately 30 mins from the airport. You will need to book your flights on your own. However, your shuttle transportation cost (shared) to and from the hotel is included in your room rates. If you would like a private transportation to the hotel please contact our travel agent Tracy Espina or you can also request it on when booking your room on destinationweddings.com link provided in your email.

I am traveling solo, but would prefer double/triple rate

Answer

No problem! We will try to pair you with other guests that are traveling solo, but if you are interested in buddying up with someone please contact Hiwot (703-915-5522) or Yoseph (703-940-6569). If you want a single-occupancy room, that works as well! Just inform our travel agent, Tracy Espina, or look through our destinationweddings.com link provided in your email for the best rates.

We have more than 2 people in the room. Are there room options to accommodate us?

Answer

Yes! Once you enter destinationweddings.com link sent to your email it will ask you how many guests are staying with you and if you’re bringing children it will ask you their age. The website will calculate the amount based on the amount of guests you select.

I want a bigger room. Is there options for an upgrade?

Answer

Yes you will be able to pick the type of room on the destinationweddings.com link provided in your email. Other options other than standard junior suite include (Junior suite with pool view, Junior suite superior, etc.).

I do not have an international phone plan. How do we stay connected while in Mexico?

Answer

Download the "WhatsApp" free app in the app store in your phone to stay connect while in Mexico. You can text, voice chat, video call, send pictures, etc for absolutely free (*to people who also have WhatsApp) as long as you are connected to WiFi. Am I allowed to bring +1 or my children?

Answer

Yes you may bring a +1. However if you are planning to bring your children please let Hiwot or Yoseph know so they can plan accordingly.

Question

I'm not sure if I will have a plus one guest, can I book my room as a single occupancy and change it to two people in the room later on?

Answer

Yes, you can book your room for 1 adult for now. Then when you are certain that you will have an additional guest, you will be able to add your guest to the reservations up to 14 days prior to travel however any changes within 30 days of travel will incur a $25.00 per person surcharge.
