What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm. Please plan travel accordingly for driving or ferrying.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Liberty Bay Waterfront Park has a public parking lot with ample room for parking and access to both the ceremony and reception hall. There is another parking lot a short walk up the hill from the Sons of Norway on the right side of Front Street called "King Olaf". Please be mindful that Poulsbo is a tourist town and also highly frequented during the weekends, so please plan enough time for parking to arrive to the ceremony on time.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your kiddos, unfortunately we cannot accommodate them at our wedding, unless they are immediate family members of the bride and groom, or are in the wedding party. We hope this is enough time for you to make other arrangements and celebrate with us!

What is "Forest Formal" attire?

Answer

We're so glad you asked! Think of garden party attire, but if you were in the forest! Our caterer helped us come up with this term when we originally thought about tying the knot at camp, and we loved the idea so much even though our venue shifted, we kept that theme. We like to think that it falls somewhere between cocktail attire and garden party - so fun dresses or pant suits with sparkles, flowers or rich tones, sport coats and slacks or lighter suits. Just make sure your shoes are fit for dancing the night away!
