FAQs

If you have other questions, please feel free to reach out! If you don't have Josh or Vanessa's number, please reach out to Rebecca Mohr (Mother of the Bride) at 812.756.2713.
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal. We are looking our best and so should you! Ladies, please do not wear white, let's save it for the bride! Gentlemen, a nice button-up and jeans are okay with us!

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is July 20, 2022. If you don't RSVP by July 20th, you will be unable to attend because our food and chair count will be submitted to our caterer/venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we'd prefer if it was just you. If you're not sure, when you RSVP, and it asks you to add a guest name, you may bring a guest. If not, please come alone as there won't be enough chairs or food.

Question

Honeymoon fund or registry?

Answer

We don't mean to offend anyone, but we would prefer cash instead of gifts. We own our own home and don't need much. Instead, we would love to have an amazing honeymoon, and money towards this would be great! However, if you'd prefer to buy us a gift, we have two registries (Walmart and Amazon) up as well! We are thankful for any and all gifts.

Question

Can I Bring Alcohol?

Answer

NO! Outside alcohol is prohibited on Walhill Farm. They will provide all alcohol services! If you bring your own, it will be confiscated and if there is a problem, you will be asked to leave.

Question

What should I do if I can't attend?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors and our reception will take place indoors.

Question

What do I need to know about the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm sharp. You may start to arrive as early as 3:30 pm to find your seat. Signs will be placed to direct you to the ceremony (or follow the decorations, lol!). A shuttle will be available for anyone in need of transportation from the parking lot to Lakeside View where the ceremony takes place. If you are running behind, please be mindful of the photographers so that you are not in their shot. If we are still walking the aisle, please wait to approach until we are positioned at the alter.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Phones will NOT be permitted during the ceremony! We ask that you keep your phones put away during the ceremony so our photographer can capture the best photos. After the ceremony is over, take as many photos as you'd like!

Question

When can I take photos with the bride and groom?

Answer

We would love to take photos with you! After the ceremony, the photographers will take group and individual photos. Please be patient during this time. We will have a photo backdrop at the reception. If you'd like a photo with us there using your phone (or our phone), please ask us! We ask that you be mindful as everyone will want a turn.

Question

What do I need to know about the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held in "The Barn" and doors will open at 5:00 pm. You'll find pretzels and chips as well as fountain drinks (Coke products), water, and lemonade. At 5:30pm, dinner will be served, and the bar will open. We have paid for beer, so please enjoy! Other alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase (cash bar).

Question

Can we post on social media?

Answer

Of course! We just ask that you tag us and use our wedding hashtag: #KickingItWithTheKeiths so we can see everything!

Question

Do you have Covid restrictions?

Answer

If you prefer to wear a mask, feel free to do so, but please bring your own. If you test positive within two weeks before our wedding, please do not come, and let us know. If you are feeling sick, please choose to stay home. We hate for you to miss it, but we need to keep everyone safe.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?

Answer

Please reach out to us if you have any food restrictions or allergies so that we can best accommodate you!
