St. Armands Circle is the shopping and dining district on Longboat Key island. Here you can find tons of boutiques, restaurants & salons set around a charming circular park.
Downtown Sarasota has tons to offer and is very walkable. Main Street specifically has lots of shopping and dining options starting at the marina and heading east for about a mile.
The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is a 15-acre botanical garden located in downtown Sarasota. The gardens offer a beautiful variety of plants and there is a bayfront mangrove walkway for visitors.
For those without beach access at their stays, Lido Key Beach offers public access and is within 1 mile from Saint Armands Circle.
Located in the middle of Longboat Key island (north of Saint Armands Circle) is Bayfront Park. This park boasts beautiful views of Sarasota Bay and many amenities for those of all ages and activity levels. Amenities found at Bayfront Park include an indoor Recreation Center, a playground, a basketball court, shuffleboard courts, a multi-purpose open field, 3 dedicated pickleball courts, a tennis court (courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis), picnic tables, restrooms, and parking for a Town public beach access located across the street. Fun fact, this beach location is where Rachel and Anthony took their Save the Date photos!
Located on the mainland 6 miles north of Saint Armands Circle (and right outside Sarasota airport), The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is the official state art museum of Florida where visitors can explore a wide array of options spanning from art, gardens, a circus museum, and more!
