Do I have to RSVP online or can I mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We're doing all of our RSVPs through this website and will not be receiving responses through the mail.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but the absolute last day to RSVP is May 20th.

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same resort - Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. The address is 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. The resort is wheelchair accessible.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (unless raining) on a grassy lawn (called Greenview) and the reception will be indoors in the Grand Ballroom.

There is plenty of free parking with the many lots on property.

No preference! The wedding colors are dusty blue and blush pink if you are interested in coordinating your outfit.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are being handled on a case-by-case basis. Please visit the RSVP tab and type in your name, whether you were given a plus one should be indicated there. If you need one and weren't initially given one, please don't hesitate to reach out to Alex as there may still be room!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Although we would love for you to have a weekend getaway, we understand if finding childcare isn't an option. If you intend to bring your children and they were not listed in the RSVP section, please contact Alex at (262)-957-6442. To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears we politely request no children under the age of 4 attend the ceremony. People of all ages are welcome to attend our reception. Please see FAQ about music for age appropriate questions. Childcare available upon request, please contact Alex!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Hour will include a charcuterie board spread and Olson's ice cream of varying flavors. Options for dinner include chicken or steak, vegetarian meal is ravioli, kids meal is chicken tenders, and cupcakes for dessert. If you stick around later, there will be a late night sundae bar. The chicken meal, steak meal, and cupcakes are 100% gluten-free but please let us know if you need any additional accommodations.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, open bar for cocktail hour at two locations runs from 5:30-6:30pm, reopens after dinner from 8-11pm. We offer cocktails (including three signature cocktails) plus beer and wine.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely, and we encourage it! There will be a moment during the ceremony that our officiant will tell you to take photos and then put them away. For later, two photobooths will be set up during cocktail hour and the reception so be sure to take advantage of them!

Any updates will be included in an announcement banner on our website, so be sure to check!

We will not be live streaming the ceremony.

What kind of music will be played at the reception?

Answer

Music for all ages will be playing on the dance floor from 8pm-10pm. Not-so-kid friendly music will start at 10pm.
