NW 23rd is a 5 minute drive from downtown Portland (25 minutes walk). NW 23rd Avenue is full of character, with an abundance of restaurants and boutiques along a pedestrian friendly, leafy street. The surrounding neighborhood is full of beautiful 19th century Victorian/Edwardian mansions, and vintage 1920s apartment buildings. NW 23rd Avenue features both upscale and casual restaurants/bars, as well as an array of smaller boutiques and gift shops.
You can find it between 9th and 15th Avenues, north of downtown Portland (with Burnside Street on its south boundary, and Naito Parkway on its north boundary). The Pearl District is a sophisticated hub of restaurants, cafes and shops, gentrified in the 1990's from a former industrial, warehouse district. Natalie & Adam lived in a condo right next to Fields Park before moving to Lake Oswego, the Pearl holds a special spot in their heart!

The Pittock Mansion is a French Renaissance-style château in the West Hills of Portland. The mansion was originally built in 1914 and if you are like us and love looking at historical places, you won't want to miss this one! You can hike through trails in Forest Park (close to downtown PDX) or you can drive up and skip leg day!
