We're getting married!

Nicole and Rich met at a local bar they both frequented called Rocco's on a football Sunday. They sat next to each other at the bar and started chatting it up about yoga! Rich had only tried yoga a couple times at this point, but this was his "in" with Nicole. Rich asked for Nicole's number that night, but he didn't call her! However, he did google her, and her credentials were pretty great, so she should have gotten a call! The two ran into each other again at Rocco's (surprise, surprise) on July 19, 2019. He acknowledged he never called and promised to take her on a very fancy date at TGIFridays...He sure knew how to wine and dine a girl. On August 15, 2019, Rich made the best decision of his life to take Nicole out on a proper date to Columbus Inn. He picked her up, opened her doors, and was such a gentleman! The pair went for drinks afterward at another local bar, where Rich asked Nicole to dance and he dipped her! They laughed all night, and they both had that gut feeling that this would be their last first date...They were right!

The proposal was everything that Nicole could have dreamed of. Rich had told Nicole they were going to a lunch for his parents' anniversary and that they would do a date-night afterwards, so she should dress up. As they were leaving the house, Rich wanted to take a walk to their "spot" - The Read House Gardens in Old New Castle, which is right behind their home. It was a gorgeous day for a walk so Nicole thought nothing of it. The two were hand in hand walking through the gardens enjoying the scenery, when Rich stopped her...It was then that she knew! Rich said a few beautiful words and then got down on one knee. The ring was sparkling and stunning! Nicole was crying while Rich put the ring on her finger. Rich then told her to turn around and look because they had some guests! Nicole's sister, Renee, had filmed the whole proposal! She had been hiding behind a bush and somehow Nicole never saw her. After that, both Nicole and Rich's immediate family all popped out, with a beautiful floral bouquet and champagne to celebrate the magnificent moment. Afterwards, they drove to Nicole's parents’ house for "lunch," which turned out to be a surprise engagement party for Nicole and Rich with many of their close friends and family. The day could not have been more perfect!
