Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for this wedding will be cocktail attire. The wedding party will be on the formal side with the groomsmen wearing suits and the bridesmaids wearing floor-length gowns.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 5:00 pm CT so we recommend you arrive by 4:45 pm.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We would love to have everyone's children at the wedding, but due to the size of the venue, only the Bride and Groom's nieces and nephews and the children of the wedding party will be able to attend.

Yes! We registered for a honeymoon fund with Zola; just look for the Registry link here on the website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! There is a small parking lot adjacent to the building, a large parking lot at Our Lady-Lourdes Catholic Church located at the southwest corner of Williams and Forrest, as well as plenty of street parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Please don't drink and drive! Designate a driver or call an Uber or Lyft; both of which are available in Victoria. Also, we will have access to the venue until 1 am so there is no rush to exit the venue after the reception is "over".

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes, please email the bride at emilyrhester@gmail.com (sigh, she can't wait to change that to Gonzalez!). We will do our absolute best to accommodate our loved ones' dietary restrictions.

Are there any other events going on?

For those arriving on Friday, there will be a very informal pre-wedding get-together at Aerocrafters Bar starting around 7 pm that evening. You can also check out the Things To Do section of this site for suggestions for fun things to do while you're in town! https://aerocrafters.pub

How do rental cars work in Victoria?
Answer
It depends! Victoria is a small airport so there are not rental car locations at the airport. If you are flying into VCT and need a rental car, please look up the location of your preferred rental agency in Victoria and give them a call in advance of your arrival to request a pickup. If your arrival time is outside of their pick-up hours, you can schedule a hotel shuttle by contacting the hotel, use a local cab service, or order an Uber through the app. (I use Uber regularly when I visit Victoria. They are typically easy to come by)
