Back in 2017 we both worked at a local music school; Alex gave private lessons and Carly was a receptionist. About a year after we both left, we reconnected over social media and had our first date!

After a couple months of talking and hints at going on a date, we finally met up on the Fourth of July to watch fireworks at the bay. It wasn’t even the next morning before a second date was planned for the next day. We consider our first date our anniversary because from this point on we have been best friends, confidants, companions, and life partners.
