We’re Getting Married!

We met working in the hospital—definitely a “he noticed her first” moment. Eventually she said yes to a few coffee dates, which turned into long phone conversations and lunch breaks together at work. Soon enough friendship turned into something more and “she was hooked”. Day trips, hiking, & searching for new cafés became some of our favorite pastimes. Everything just clicked between us...God has perfect timing!

We started the day hiking in the dark with headlamps on to catch the sunrise, ignoring the bear-warnings posted throughout the trails. Two hours later, we finally hit the summit and it came down to all of the preparation he had been doing throughout the year with his GoPro. Nervous he had lost the ring on the trek up, he was trying to frame his shots and video as she was in awe of the view. Finally, he grabbed her hand, told her he couldn’t imagine going through life with anyone else and dropped to one knee. She wouldn’t let him finish before she yelled, “yes!” At almost 9000ft, I guess you could say we felt like we were on Cloud 9! See you in September!
