Henry and Soniya first met in science class freshmen year of high school. They were forced to sit at the same table because their last names both started with "W." Yet, they were not friends and neither of them attempted to become friends. It was not until junior year of high school that they actually became friends, coincidentally, because Soniya recommended Henry watch the show "Friends" and they finally had something to talk about. Soniya had a big crush on Henry and tried everything to impress him . . . including watching all 7 Fast Furious movies in one weekend. Needless to say, it worked because after a year of being friends, Henry finally asked Soniya on a date. He asked her by tying a note to Shelby, their beloved labradoodle, asking Soniya to be his girlfriend. Their first date was to Red's Savoy in St. Paul and then to a movie, which Soniya accidentally fell asleep at, but Henry still took her on a second, and third, and fourth date. Henry proposed to Soniya on June 10, 2022 at Soniya's favorite spot on the North Shore, Tettegouche State Park. Seven years after asking Soniya to be his girlfriend; he asked her to be his wife in the same way with the same dog. Henry asked her by getting a custom made dog tag that said "Will you marry me?" Soniya of course said yes, only after asking if it was the chicken parm . . . but that is a story for another day. Henry and Soniya have been together since high school, through college, law school and 3 fantasy football seasons. They look forward to their future and the many fantasy football seasons to come.
