Colorado Railroad Museum
The Colorado Railroad Museum features dozens of historic locomotives and railroad cars, model trains, exhibits, train rides, and more! Train rides most Saturdays, expanded summer Train Rides Thursday-Sunday.
Miners Saloon
A great option for laid back vibe and some amazing bar food! Miners Saloon is a modern day saloon reminiscent of Golden’s mining days in the late 1800s. With a rustic, cozy interior and a perfect balance of period details and modern comforts, Miners provides an old West saloon feel with a contemporary edge.
Windy Saddle Cafe
The Windy Saddle Cafe is Golden's favorite spot for coffee or tea, breakfast or lunch. Dinner is also served on the weekends. Each weekend they introduce a great new menu and Colorado wines and beers! Windy Saddle bakers make a daily assortment of scones, muffins, cakes, cookies, bars, pies, bagels, and cupcakes - all from scratch. The kids can enjoy the Kid's Play Corral and Little Buckaroo Menu.

An awesome experience for kids and parents! Home to more than 3,000 animals representing more than 450 species, Denver Zoo is a non-profit organization, and the city’s oldest and most passionate advocate for the natural world. The Zoo is among the most visited cultural destination in Colorado, serving almost 2 million people per year, and accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
