Things To Do

For those who haven't been to Colombia, we hope that you can take some time to dive into the country and its culture. Below are some recommendations for Bogota, but please don't hesitate to contact us for travel recommendations. To start with, our short list of places includes: Villa de Leyva, Colombia's coffee zone, Medellín and the Caribbean coast (Cartagena, Rosario Islands, Isla Baru and the Tayrona National Park). Bogota has a diverse and vibrant restaurant scene as well as exciting tourist spots. Here is a list of some of our favourite activities and restaurants.
La Candelaria

La Candelaria

Bogotá, Bogotá, Colombia

La Candelaria is the historic center of Bogotá. In this area you'll find colorful colonial architecture, many handicraft shops, restaurants and museums (e.g. Museo Botero, Gold Museum, etc). Kiki also highly recommends the Graffiti Tour (http://bogotagraffiti.com) as an insightful and inspiring way to see the center of the city.

Monserrate

Monserrate

Carrera 2 Este No. 21-48 Paseo Bolívar, Santa Fé, Bogotá 110311, Colombia

The Monserrate Sanctuary is a XVII century church located on a hill overlooking Bogotá from almost 3,200 meters above sea level. We recommend that you go in the morning and take the cable car or train up.

Botero Museum

Botero Museum

Usaquén Flea Market (on Sundays)

Usaquén Flea Market (on Sundays)

Usaquen Plaza, Bogota, Cundinamarca 110111, Colombia

In the north of the city, in Usaquen, every Sunday there is a kind of flea market where many Colombian "artesanías" are sold. Usaquen is a small, nice neighborhood with a typical plaza and many cafes and restaurants. https://www.mercadopulgasusaquen.com | https://www.instagram.com/mercadopulgasusaquen/?hl=en
