La Candelaria is the historic center of Bogotá. In this area you'll find colorful colonial architecture, many handicraft shops, restaurants and museums (e.g. Museo Botero, Gold Museum, etc). Kiki also highly recommends the Graffiti Tour (http://bogotagraffiti.com) as an insightful and inspiring way to see the center of the city.
The Monserrate Sanctuary is a XVII century church located on a hill overlooking Bogotá from almost 3,200 meters above sea level. We recommend that you go in the morning and take the cable car or train up.
A small, very nice museum with a beautiful internal courtyard. Botero is one of Colombia's most famous artists.
Most popular museum in town with the largest collection of gold precolombinian artifacts in the world.
In the north of the city, in Usaquen, every Sunday there is a kind of flea market where many Colombian "artesanías" are sold. Usaquen is a small, nice neighborhood with a typical plaza and many cafes and restaurants. https://www.mercadopulgasusaquen.com | https://www.instagram.com/mercadopulgasusaquen/?hl=en
"Barrio" (neighborhood) with many restaurants, bars and a shopping center called "Centro Comercial Andino". If you're looking for nightlife, you'll find plenty of options here.
One of the most famous places in Bogotá to try the local food as well as to party!
Amazing colombian gourmet flavors!
We went here a couple of weeks ago and we cannot recommend it enough. Delicious Mexican food with the best cocktails and variety!
Colombo-Pacific inspired, mostly amazing seafood dishes. Not recommended by Felipe (fish doesn't go on his plate :-D ), but a very nice restaurant for anyone else who wants to try ceviche.
Really cool place in some backyard in La Candelaria; delicious Italian as well as Colombian food. Sangria is a must.
Great bar, great view and one of Felipe's favourite burgers.
Kiki's favourite bakery in Bogota. www.instagram.com/arboldelpan/?hl=en
