We got married!

Lauren and Nathan first met in college both studying environmental engineering. They got to know each other better once Lauren joined the fencing team, which Nathan was already a proud member of, during their sophomore year. What followed was the classic progression of late-night study sessions, to dueling in fencing club, to dueling in Dungeons & Dragons together. Nathan asked Lauren out at a concert, immediately following the encore from California-based ska punk band Reel Big Fish. Their first date was going out to a local brewery to play their favorite pinball machine Monster Bash. It must have gone well, because Lauren invited Nathan over afterwards to play boardgames and do crossword puzzles. They’ve been drinking beer, doing the crossword, and playing pinball together ever since.
