We're getting married!

We were supposed to meet several times over the years, but one of us always ended up being busy. Until last year. On the eve of the Super Bowl, Hemali decided to slide into Pratik's Instagram DMs - shooting her shot. Then, realized they weren't friends so he would never see it. She also added him as a friend just to make sure. Pratik saw the message, and didn't know how to respond. So he waited. And waited. TWO WHOLE DAYS later, he responded and they hit it off. Then, nine days later, he flew to Nashville to visit her on a work trip where they finally met in-person (officially) - and have been inseparable ever since (besides the fact that they lived in different parts of the country.)
