Yes. The ceremony will be outside and the reception upstairs inside the barn. Click here for the venue website; https://elkhornranchevents.com/the-elkhorn-ranch-1
Yale blue, Chianti purple, rose pink, and some in between. The theme is a mix of rustic and garden.
Coming soon! We won't know until closer to the wedding date but in the PNW, weather can change just an hour before. This location specifically is in a rainforest, meaning rain is way more likely and random. Plan for the worst- rain, mud, and wind! It may be cold, or it may be hot. Just plan for it all! We suggest waterproof jackets and layers!
Business casual, no need for tuxes or suites! Come in a nice button up/dress or just your Sunday best- we don't mind. It is always smart to plan for rain in the PNW, and for our TX family- it'll probably be cold. Just remember, there will be LOTS of pictures, and you will most likely be framed or in a photo album! As long as you're not wearing a white wedding dress or a neon suit- we won't have an issue!
Yes! There are two, a full restroom outside and an additional bathroom downstairs in the barn. There will also be two porta potties near the ceremony location and near the outdoor bathroom.
Aloha Alabama BBQ!
Well in the Howery side of the family, we don't like calling 3 pm lunch nor dinner. So, the most obvious word for having a meal at 3pm is... Lunch + Dinner = Linner!
No. This will be a dry wedding! We will have lots of other refreshments!
No. We will have a photographer, and I don't want you to be the only one with a phone over your face when we get those photos back! Reception or any other time- please take as many as you'd like.
Yes, but no. The venue allows us to have our dogs leashed outside during the ceremony, however, they are not allowed inside the barn.
We have made the decision to have no kids younger than 10. I understand that this may limit some people's ability to attend, and for that I apologize. We still love ya and hope we can celebrate with you!
