What time is the shuttle from the hotel?

Answer

For our guests staying at the hotel, a shuttle will be provided to and from the wedding. The shuttle will leave promptly at 5:10pm on Friday, 5/17/24 for the ceremony. A return shuttle will depart the reception at 11:15pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we are kindly requesting Cocktail attire for our wedding. We will be getting married outside, so block heels will be the most comfortable for those who choose to wear heels. Our cocktail hour will also be outdoors but on a patio, and our reception will be indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Powhatan weather in May will likely be sunny and 60 to 70 degrees. There is always a chance of rain at this time of year, so be sure to check the weather closer to the big day. The evenings can also be chilly, so consider a light jacket for cocktail hour.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children and we want our guests to have the best possible time at our wedding. To us, this means taking a break and having a weekend away from your little ones. Our wedding is an adults-only event unless otherwise mentioned on your invitation.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

The bride is really excited to see all your faces as she walks down the aisle. Because of this we will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones on silent and put away during our ceremony.
