FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will begin the ceremony at 3:00pm but we encourage everyone to get there between 1:00 and 2:00 to get settled, grab some food and drink, and find a seat.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child is invited, they will be included on your invitation. We ask that if your child is not included in the invitation that you contact us to sort it out.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Ample. Just follow the signs that indicate where to park when you arrive at the location.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No there is not, but Uber is familiar with the location and you can have them drop you off at your hotel and come back the next morning to collect your vehicle.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st so that we can get to work on table seating, food, beverages, and all the things.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes please! There will be a note in your invitation to add your dietary needs for the event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one, that will be included on your invitation. We ask that if you would like to bring a date and it's not indicated in the invitation that you contact us to sort it out.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered right here on Zola! We are mostly asking for donations to our wedding fund and our honeymoon fund, but there are a few odds and ends we have registered for as well.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress suggestion is “comfort classy”, which in Heidi & Mikey terms means “wear what makes you feel good and zhuzh it up a bit.” The wedding is outdoors in late July. It will be warm during the ceremony, and cool in the evening. Wear layers, in true PNW form. We encourage you to wear shoes that do not pierce the grass as you walk, because life is hard enough. Our color theme is green and purple so if you like wearing either of those colors we invite you to do so on our special day. If you don’t like wearing dresses… Wear pants. If you don’t like to wear formal shoes… Wear sandals. Are crocs acceptable footwear for our wedding? Yes! When in doubt, wear what makes you feel good and like you're going to do a thing.
