Explore Joe and Heidi's neighborhood! Home to numerous restaurants antique stores, and boutiques, The Avenue is a great place for strolling. Some highlights: The Charmery (best ice cream in the city), The Food Market (recently named one of the top 50 brunch spots in the US!) Bluebird Cocktail Room (the name says it all- the cocktails are delicious)
Waterfront views, local boutiques, and a Baltimore snowball...what more could you ask for? Oh, how about America's oldest operating bar? Have a drink at The Horse You Came In On Saloon (also the last stop of Edgar Allan Poe before his demise). Grab a record at Sound Garden, decorate your home at Su Casa, or grab some seafood at Thames Street Oyster House or Bertha's Mussels. No trip to Baltimore would be complete without a trip to Fells.
A great place to spend an afternoon! (And bonus: it's free!) Joe and Heidi have spent countless date nights and even field trips at this Baltimore institution.
Picasso, Degas, Rodin...this beautiful museum holds countless treasures, the largest Matisse collection anywhere in the world, and beautiful local art. Grab a bite at Gertrude's or stroll across the street to the Wyman Park Dell. Fun fact: the Dell was recently landscaped by a bunch of hungry goats.
The only place in the world where Guinness is brewed- other than Dublin, of course! Check out this great spot for a brew. Bonus: it is close to the airport for those flying to the festivities!
