Where will the wedding be?

Answer

We will be having our ceremony at Southwind in Shannon, MS.

Will it be an outside wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will be having our ceremony outside uncovered, if the weather permits. However, if the weather doesn't cooperate, we will still have our wedding outside just covered by a pavilion.

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

No, we will not be having a bar, open bar, or private alcoholic beverages.

Will there be candles in the barn?

Answer

No, per the owner, we are not allowed to have candles or anything that causes smoke near the barn. It is for safety as well as cleaning reasons, that we have agreed to abide by.

What will the guest attire be?

Answer

Even though our wedding will be outdoors and reception be in a barn, this is a formal event and we would ask everyone to come in "dressy" attire. (Not formal gowns, closer to “Sunday Best”)
