Plymouth is a quaint New England town in the Lakes Region that is home to the beautiful White Mountains. It is within 20 minutes of Lake Winnipesauke and Newfound Lake. There are many nature experiences in the area, such as hiking, water or snow sports, and wildlife centers.
Flume Gorge

The Flume is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. The Flume Trail is a 2-mile loop starting at the check-in booths. The entire loop takes approximately 1.5 hours and finishes at the Flume Building. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs.
Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

Open meadows, mature forests, and marsh boardwalks connect interactive natural exhibits where native animals reside: black bear, mountain lion, raptors, river otter, bobcat, and more. Plan approximately two-and-a-half hours to walk the exhibit trail. Trails are open May 1 through November 1.
The Polar Caves took shape during the last Ice Age as the last continental glacier rolled over what is now New Hampshire's White Mountains
Newton Trailhead- Rainbow Falls

Rainbow Falls is one of the finest waterfalls in New Hampshire outside of the White Mountain National Forest. The falls is located in a well-maintained nature preserve that offers several miles of hiking trails.
