It all started with a click, well a swipe to be more specific - a "super like" that is! Heather's Version: Being very skeptical of the internet and meeting strangers I tried to be smart about it. However, we all know my natural hair color is blonde. Telling myself to talk to him for a week and make sure you can maintain a conversation before meeting in person and it turning out to be more awkward then it was already bound to be. I told him I couldn't meet him on a week night because I have to be up early for work and therefore go to bed really early. Two days go by and my school district decides to switch to 100% virtual learning and we all get sent home for the week (thanks COVID). My blonde comes out and texts Brandon to tell him the news. Remember it's only two days after speaking and talking on the phone and I wanted a week to meet this stranger. After receiving my news he excitedly says "that means you don't have to wake up early to go into work and I can take you to dinner?" Having no excuse to say "no", I gave in and said "yes". Turns out that inevitable awkward meeting, wasn't awkward at all. We sat and talked for hours. Those hours turned into days, weeks, and months of talking and seeing each other to the point I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life talking and seeing this wonderful man whether it be awkward or not. Thanks for super liking me, B. ;) Brandon's Version: Being during Covid and football season, internet dating was going to be the best option for me. When I came across Heather i was taken back and had to use a super like on her so I could get her attention. Once we matched I messaged her saying "blonde, beautiful, and athletic, You are just my type." After just a few days of texting I found out she was "quarantined" and I knew this was going to be my best chance before someone else caught her attention. I convinced her to go on a date with me and after that date I called my friends saying I met my wife and deleted the app.
