We were gym partners during our sophomore year at Bartlett High School! Alec didn't really have a choice in the matter, but he didn't mind too much. We were pretty good at pickle ball too! We were good friends and stayed connected after high school via social media. In November 2018, Alec asked Heather to meet up for coffee at the local Starbucks to catch up. And it was like nothing had changed since high school! We've been together since!

-June 8th, 2021- We were at the beach with Heather's family and ventured out to walk on the beach to the Flora-Bama for some late night oysters. We walked on the beach, catching sand crabs along the way; and then found a few chairs and sat to look up at the stars...and that's when Alec popped the question! And of course, Heather said, "YAAASSS!!"
