Wedding Address!

3661 Anderson Hwy., Powhatan, VA 23139 You will turn onto a somewhat hidden gravel road (small hanging sign that says “Lakeside”) which will lead you straight into the parking lot at the top of the hill past the houses.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45pm to park and get comfortable before the ceremony starts at 4pm.

Indoor/Outdoor?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outside on the dock. The cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor with heaters if needed and the Reception will take place inside the greenhouse structure. Fingers crossed the weather cooperates for us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable so please keep in mind the weather can go either way during March in Virginia. For the wedding cocktail attire is preferred. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! We have a honeymoon fund and we are registered with Zola, Amazon, and Crate and Barrel.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do have a block of rooms set up for the event. See travel details tab for more info. Hotel room block closes Jan. 31st. You can still book after this time it just won’t be included under the group rate.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with planning and seating arrangements we kindly ask that you RSVP by January 2nd, 2024!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are definitely open to having your kiddos at the wedding. Please use the RSVP to let us know they are coming. We also want everyone, including the parents to enjoy their evening so if this means leaving the kids at home that works too, it’s up to you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a lot of parking on site! You are going to turn off of Anderson Hwy onto a somewhat hidden (there is a small sign hanging) gravel road. Follow that road until you get to a parking area beyond the second house on the right. You will take the path around the house and see the greenhouse, around the greenhouse is the ceremony area on the dock.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have transportation arranged, however we are always happy to help you set up a taxi, Uber, or Lyft if needed!
