This is a historic hotel and in addition to being a landmark, it also has a lovely restaurant and bar that are reasonably priced.

Small bookstore with a focus on lgbt literature and zines. There are other small shops in this area and a really cool goodwill next door.
This restaurant is run by entirely deaf/hoh staff. The environment is peaceful and the food is great.

This is on the UT campus and is a walk away from the Bob Bullock Museum as well. There are parking garages nearby that are (Austin) reasonably priced.

Not sure about parking situation, but the building is beautiful and typically open to visitors. Weather permitting, the grounds are beautiful as well
