We actually met at our freshman lunch table in high school when we went to the same school for a year. Kenton ended up going back to his former school for the rest of high school and we didn't connect again until after college. After college we "re-met" while working at Blackbaud as BDR's. A lot of cold calling bingo and "West Coast Wednesdays" to bond over. We hit a stride after a team happy hour where we talked about our faith at the bar and things felt different ever since!
Kenton proposed on August 11, 2023 on a hot Charleston summer day. It happened at Sullivan's Island where we often take swim dips before or after work to cleanse or turn around the day, we believe you can't have a bad day after swimming in some salt water. A small group of friends and family joined to celebrate at Islander 71. It was a perfect weekend!
