They say there's two sides to every story. Here's ours: HAZEL: "Alright, so where do I start? Oh yes, at the beginning...11 years ago! Anybody who knows me, knows I have a bad memory, but honestly, I'll never forget the day I met Arthur. We were at a day-party in Hollywood called the Do Over. My friends and I were dancing with some of his friends when he came over and in true Arthur nature, said something funny/charming like "ya'll being nice to my friends?". I just remember looking up like "Who is this guy???" From then on, we ran into each other quite often at the Do Over and quickly formed a friendship." ARTHUR: "The day I met Hazel I was at a day party that took place on a weekly basis with my friends. I actually remember seeing her previously at the same party so when I saw her conversing with my friends I remembered her from before. I made my way over to check on my friends and of course say hi. After that moment, Hazel and I saw each other several other times at the same party which led to us hanging out more.

HAZEL: "Our friendship grew fast and we became so close, he was like my best friend. We told each other everything...the good, the ugly and everything in between. I remember him calling me one day and he told me about this "dream" he had had of us and I thought to myself, 'ok weird, don't be dreaming of us like that' lol After that conversation, we didn't see each other for about a month but I couldn't get that convo out of my head. When I finally saw him at my cousin's birthday bash at a club, something in me had changed. He looked so cute and I wanted to dance with only him all night haha! One thing led to another and after a year of being friends and a year of "dating", we made it official and got in a relationship. I got to meet AJ :) and some of the other fam and Art got to meet mine as well." ARTHUR: "Because I was hanging out with Hazel and her crew of girls we became close and talked and hung out regularly. After about a year of making her laugh but also seeing her cry over EVERYTHING, I had a dream we went on a date. After telling her about my dream she got weird and distanced herself. About a month later I saw Hazel at her cousin's bday party and she was EVERYWHERE. I couldn't talk, dance, or anything else with anyone without Hazel being around that entire night. Can you say player hater lol. That led to us dating and meeting each others family.

HAZEL: "In 2016, we moved in together and just a year later, Aria was born. A few months after that, AJ came to live with us. For me, this phase was new and fun and exciting but also, of course, I was learning a lot along the way. I was learning about myself and my new role as a mom. I was learning about AJ and developing our relationship. And I was learning about Arthur's role as a father. All in all, I loved having the four of us under the same roof. (Come back AJ! Save me from these crazies! We both know you and I were always the normal ones heehee)" ARTHUR: "We later began living together and Aria was born about a year later. Shortly after, AJ began living with us as he needed King Art's guidance. Hazel got to learn another side of me when dealing with AJ and Aria. This led to us conversing more about parenthood and learning and compromising with how we wanted to move forward when dealing with the kids. These convos helped with later building a strong foundation within our relationship and more respect for each other."

Hazel: "People always ask me how Art proposed. They usually expect some elaborate story, but it was pretty straightforward. We just had a conversation, an understanding, a joint decision... to take the next step. So in 2021, we went to a jewelry store and that same day I walked out with a ring <3 And here we are today, wedding planning in full effect! And I cannot wait to share our love with you all on our wedding day! yay!" Arthur: "Hazel was in mom mode, I was basketball training and DJing more, and AJ was about to graduate high school when suddenly the pandemic hit. Shortly after graduating, AJ moved back with his mother and Hazel and I were forced to converse more about life because EVERYTHING was closed and we couldn't go anywhere. We agreed on some things, disagreed on others, and compromised on the rest. About a year later, Hazel approached me about marriage, I thought about it and about a month later I was buying a ring and we were engaged. I did casually ask Dad (Rene) for permission, which he may not have understood what I was asking, but said "of course" and that was that, simple process lol.
