Hayley and Evan first met during the Member Guest golf weekend in June of 2018. Hayley was invited out for a "girls" night with a dear friend, Catherine Moss. She headed to a local restaurant, Castiglia's, and was told to meet everyone in the basement. Little did she know, there was a co-ed party ensuing. Upon entering the basement Hayley found a wild bunch of men wearing matching shoes hanging from the ceiling beams. Clearly behind on the party, Hayley grabbed a drink and started chatting. Catherine had preemptively told Evan that Hayley would be joining that evening and within a short amount of time, Evan had introduced himself to Hayley. The night continued and the party transitioned to the rooftop where Evan proceeded to get Hayley's phone number. Their summer schedules were quite busy at that time and they weren't able to meet up again for their first date for nearly three weeks. Finally, they met on the rooftop of Castiglia's for drinks, which turned into dinner, and ended with Evan walking Hayley home. While Hayley was determined to not rush anything and insisted they couldn't hang out that often, they still somehow found themselves grabbing a quick drink, making dinner together, meeting each other's friends, and then skydiving, all within the first few weeks of dating. They both knew pretty quickly that this was "it" and decided to dive head first into life's up's and down's together.
