Frances and Haylee’s friendship began in their junior year at Westlake High School. They shared countless moments together, from blissful days on the Bates’ dock to nights filled with laughter that echoed in their hearts. Ski trips and many more adventures sealed their bond. Frances has been a constant presence throughout Haylee’s life, supporting each other always. Haylee considers Frances a rare gem, a friend like no other, and feels incredibly fortunate to have her standing by her side. The thought of her big day without Frances there to share in the love and celebration is unimaginable.

Emily Byrnes (Haylee)

Emily, also known as Byrnes, met Haylee as random roommates at the University of Texas. Throughout their college years, Emily proved to be a steadfast friend, always offering honest advice when needed. Their memories are filled with countless nights of laughter on 6th street, spirited tailgates at UT Football games, mischievous escapades, and heartfelt conversations. Although Emily returned home to Connecticut after college, their friendship endured. Emily’s infectious spirit and ability to ignite any gathering make her an irreplaceable presence. With Emily by her side, Haylee knows that every moment will be unforgettable.

Kirsten & Haylee met onboarding at Social Solutions in the summer of 2018, where they bonded instantly. From weekly coffee dates filled with laughter and heartfelt conversation, to countless advice seeking phone calls, Kirsten has become Haylee’s rock. Haylee & Lauren have shared game nights, celebrated birthdays, and created memories that will last a lifetime with both Kirsten & her amazing husband, Travis. Through thick and thin, Haylee & Kirsten lean on each other, providing unwavering support and love. Kirsten is not just a bridesmaid; she is a soul sister, and no doubt will be one of Haylee’s life-long friends.

Shelby Dellinger (Lauren)

Shelby and Lauren’s friendship began during their freshman year at Texas A&M University, just like many college friendships. Their shared memories include sneaking beer past the RA’s in their freshman dorm at Callaway House. When asked about their meeting, Shelby playfully jokes that they met through “online dating” since they connected on a roommate matching website for incoming freshmen. From that moment on, their friendship blossomed, creating a history filled with laughter, adventures, and cherished experiences. Their connection forged in those college days has stood the test of time, becoming a treasured chapter in their lives.

Stephanie Stryker (Lauren)

Stephanie and Lauren met during their freshman year of college when they both joined the sorority Delta Zeta. Since college, Stephanie and Lauren have remained close friends, even traveling the world together; most notably their trip to Iceland in 2018. Lauren and Stephanie both live in Austin, TX and Stephanie has become one of Haylee’s closest friends as well and someone the couple spends much of their time with. Even when Stephanie is not around, you can often find Haylee and Lauren lounging in her pool hanging out with her dog, Archie.

Campbell Hawk (Lauren)

Campbell and Lauren met while living in the same apartment complex in Austin, TX. Their immediate bond was over Lauren’s dog, Ollie, as Campbell was a frequent dog sitter during Lauren’s work travel. Over the years, Lauren and Campbell have been each other’s accountability partners, business coaches, and therapists. Campbell has always been a source of encouragement and accountability for Lauren helping her become the best version of herself she can be.

Rachel Weiner (Lauren)

Rachel met Lauren and Haylee shortly after the couple moved to Philadelphia in 2019. Rachel and Lauren were fast friends as they bonded over their love for reading. While in Philadelphia, Lauren and Haylee often joked that Rachel was their “Philly Mom” because she was often feeding the two home-cooked meals while Lauren was in grad school and Haylee was commuting to work.

Ryan Shoop (Lauren)

Ryan and Lauren met during Lauren’s sophomore year at A&M. Ryan was someone who was always around and he slowly became an integral part of Lauren’s life as they both journeyed through coming out. While their journey’s were different in many ways, the two bonded over their shared experiences and they were always a safe place for each other. After graduating school, Ryan and Lauren both eventually landed in Austin, TX and met the loves of their lives. The two couples have since established a strong “chosen family” who are often found having family dinners and watching RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Byron, a cherished friend of Lauren and Haylee, is part of their chosen family in Austin. Introduced by Ryan Shoop, his now husband, Byron and Lauren quickly bonded. When Haylee entered the picture, Byron warmly welcomed her. As a trusted confidant, he provides unwavering support and love. Choosing an officiant for their wedding, Byron was the perfect choice, symbolizing their deep friendship and connection.

These sisters are not just cherished relatives; they are Haylee and Lauren’s favorite little ones. Della promised to showcase her “awesome dance moves” at the reception if she could be a flower girl. Haylee and Lauren eagerly embrace Della’s enthusiasm and anticipate her showcasing her dance skills at the reception, knowing it will add a touch of magic and joy to their special day.
