Chicago River Architecture Tour: If you do one thing downtown, this is it! Cruise along the Chicago River while learning about the city's history
Lakefront/Riverwalk: Outdoor beer gardens and feel the vibrant atmosphere of the city's waterfront
Museum of Science and Industry: Located next to the University of Chicago, it is our favorite museum we’ve ever been to
Museum Campus: Soldier field, a museum of natural history, an aquarium and planetarium
Best Neighborhoods to Explore
Lincoln Park/Old Town: Tree-lined streets, historic architecture, the Lincoln Park Zoo (which is free!), trendy boutiques, and about a million dining options.
River North: The closest neighborhood Chicago has to New York City. Upscale dining and swanky cocktail bars
West Loop: The area has exploded recently and has amazing restaurants and cool renovated warehouses 
Wrigleyville:  It's is a great time. A lot of the young people live here and has lively bars and charming residential streets.
