Will guests get an invite in the mail?

Answer

We are sending the save the dates and invites to our guests electronically via email. Nothing will be mailed. Please RSVP by 9/20 on this website.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 20, 2021. Guests can RSVP on this website by clicking on the RSVP tab. Guests should also contact the travel agency to put a deposit on a room by September 20, 2021.

What about COVID?

Answer

We are following the resort mandates closely, and currently everything is proceeding as normal. Here is a link of the peace of mind protocols for the resort: https://www.karismahotels.com/peace-of-mind. They are operating at a limited capacity, 50-70%; and also have masks mandated in public inside areas. You need a negative COVID test to get back into the U.S. The resort offers on-site covid-19 testing for guests at a reduced rate ($25.00). They will set this up for you a day before you leave, and make it very easy. You then provide these results at the airport. If a guest’s test results are positive, quarantine accommodations will be provided at a 50% discount from current rates at time of travel. Arrangements and payment can be made directly on-site at the resorts. This rate will be extended until a doctor certifies clearance for travel with a negative test result, for a maximum stay not to exceed 14- nights.

What if I don't use your travel agent?

Answer

Guests can make their own reservations, but the travel agency is no cost. The agency will price match, so you are guaranteed to get the lowest price. On top of that will you also get the the wedding group discount (8%). What’s included in the all-inclusive price?

Answer

The room, unlimited food, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, tips and your transport from the airport to the resort. There are also daily free activities (aside from lounging by the pool or ocean) and free non-motorized sports.

Are kids welcome?

This is an adults-only resort, only 18+ allowed on-site.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Passports are required for entering Mexico and returning back to the United States. Please ensure your passport is not expired.

When should I fly in or out?

Answer

Our wedding is on Friday, February 4th at 5pm. It is recommended that guests arrive a day or two before. When you leave is completely up to you - stay 3 nights, stay 5 nights, stay 10 nights!

When do I need to pay off my room by?

Answer

If guests are using the travel agency's payment plan option, the room must be paid in full by October 20, 2021. Once your initial deposit is received, all future credit card payments may be made online: https://www.vacationsbyvip.com/payment/

When should I book my flight?

Answer

When you book is completely up to you. Guests can book their flight through the travel agency as well. If you don’t book your flight through the agency, you’ll just need to let them know what flights you’re taking so they can arrange your transportation from the airport to the resort.

Is there transportation to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are on the resort grounds. If you do stay at another resort, you will have to take a shuttle. Most resorts offer them at little or no cost. Just let us know so we can get you a day pass to our resort and help coordinate.

Are there any other events around the wedding?

There will be a welcome party on Thursday evening before the wedding and a Brunch on Saturday. More information to come.

Is there a dress code at the wedding?

Beach-casual, shoes-optional.

What should I pack?

Answer

Easy summer and beach clothes, lots of bathing suits, flip flops and night time shoes for the restaurants, lots of sunscreen, aloe, sunglasses, and most importantly a reusable cold cup (think Yeti or similar tumbler).
