Brighid is Madelyn's little sister. She is starting her final year of law school and has a Rag Doll cat named "Daisy." In her free time Brighid likes to run, shop, and bake. She claims she's a better baker than Madelyn...but we won't get into that.
Emily Rieckers
Matron of Honor
Emily and Madelyn met freshman year of college at Gonzaga during a dorm party in Desmet's Penthouse. Emily cheered for the Zags all four years of college and today is a Registered Nurse. Emily married a Desmet boy (shout out to Bryce) and together they have a baby daughter, Nora.
Miranda Campos
Bridesmaid
Miranda and Madelyn ran cross country and track and field during high school. During high school they were inseparable teammates and study buddies. Today Miranda is a grade school teacher and is finishing her masters.
Katie McMahon
Bridesmaid
Katie is Madelyn's cousin. They grew up playing with their younger siblings and Grandma. Katie is a big baseball fan and loves rooting on the Padres at Petco Park.
Jackson Kane
Best Man
Harrison and Jackson don't remember their first meeting, but they've been friends and room mates for most of their lives. Whether it was hockey, lacrosse, swimming in the summer, or getting each other into trouble, they've always been side by side. It's only fitting that Jackson will be standing next to Harrison when he and Madelyn get married.
Wilson Kane
Best Man
Harrison was not consulted when his parents decided to add Wilson to the family, but ultimately they made the right call. Wilson has always been a good sport when Harrison makes him do things, such as play goalie, get thrown down the stairs stuffed into a hockey bag, or be his best man.
Ed Stephens
Groomsman
Harrison and Ed first became friends during helicopter flight training in Florida, then cemented their friendship when they lived together through most of their time in San Diego. These two will always find themselves side by side, whether they're flying around Southern California, representing their country in the RIMPAC Olympics, or enjoying some live music at Moonshine Flats.
Melissa Davies
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Madelyn were college roommates freshman and sophomore year in Welch and Dussault dorms at Gonzaga. They spent hours camping out for basketball tickets, studying for classes and going to Melissa's choir parties. Today Melissa is finishing up her optometry practicum and will soon be a practicing optometrist!
Mike Perry
Groomsman
Mike was a year ahead of Harrison in the ROTC unit at RPI when they first met. Although Mike didn't leave a great first impression due to the fact that he was screaming at Harrison for his poor military bearing, they quickly became friends for life. Mike and his wife Megan served as stand-in family for Harrison while he was stationed in San Diego, always inviting him into their home or sharing Thanksgiving meals together. They even helped convince Madelyn to give Harrison a shot!
Rachel Smiley
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Madelyn met while working on their Masters in Nursing at the University of San Diego in the middle of the pandemic. They would have been the most miserable years of school if Rachel and Madelyn hadn't started doing their zoom classes together. They spent 10+ hours every Monday doing classes with their dogs, "Ivy" and O'Malley." Since then they have become the closest of friends even while living across the country from each other.
Steve Bennett
Groomsman
Harrison and Steve became fast friends after arriving at RPI. After spending most of their freshman year hanging out, they decided to live together their sophomore through senior years, where Steve ensured Harrison didn't flunk out of school. Thanks to Steve's hard work and despite Harrison's academic negligence, they reported to flight school together (where they of course continued to be room mates). Harrison also had the distinct honor of serving as Steve's best man at his wedding.
Andrew Kriley
Groomsman
Harrison and Andrew became friends immediately following their freshman NROTC orientation at RPI. They proceeded to hang about every waking moment for the duration of their 4 years of college, then throughout most of flight school, living together or in close proximity for a majority of that time. Harrison also had the pleasure of serving as Andrew's best man at his wedding. Harrison is currently honing his fun uncle skills with Andrew's kids Mason and Arbor.
